The field of genealogy is well known for having a wonderful volunteer spirit. Few groups exemplify this volunteer spirit as well as the Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild (or ISTG for short).
This group of virtual volunteers have been transcribing passenger manifests for nearly a decade and placing the resulting transcriptions online free of charge.

Tips for Using this Special Search Template
The default for this search will limit results to only those pages that are hosted at www.immigrantships.net, the ISTG Web site. If you wish to conduct a search for all pages indexed by Google on the Internet, simply check the 'web' button above.

If you are looking for a passenger with a surname Orsatti, simply type the name in the search box and press Search. If you are looking for a particular passenger (e.g. - Patrick Lynch), you should put the name inside quotations — "Patrick Lynch", otherwise your results will include manifests with Patrick Smith and James Lynch on the same page — but not what you are looking for.
